Carla Genender is the former president of a "boutique" management consulting company serving Fortune 500 companies. Many of her projects involved interpersonal relationships. Carla is a qualified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Personality Types Instrument, and has developed numerous corporate initiatives to help professionals interact better with others. She has been a dog lover since the age of five when a cocker spaniel adopted her family. She has had Yorkshire terriers since graduating from college. As an observer and participant of both human/human and human/canine relationships, she came to realize that dogs often seem better at relationships than humans. She lives in Boca Raton, Florida, with her husband, Richard; and two Yorkies, Zack and Quincy. Her daughter, Laura, is a student at Sweetbriar College.
